Tasmania Police are seeking assistance from the public to locate Matthew Strochnetter, aged 35 who lives in Seymour on the East Coast.

Mr Strochnetter was last seen by his father at 5:30am on Wednesday 8 December 2010.  Mr Strochnetter often goes woodcutting alone in his white 1993 Toyota Hilux ute, registration number DF1179. He regularly travels to Hobart and offers wood for sale from the back of his ute, in the vicinity of the Elwick Showgrounds.

His family have not seen or heard from him 8 December, and they are concerned for his safety.

If anyone has seen Matthew, or his vehicle in the last few days – they are urged to contact police.
