At approximately 7.30 pm on Saturday 21^st January 2012, Police were advised that two prisoners had escaped from the H.M. Prison, Risdon.

The prisoners are:

•  Kyle Leslie LYNCH, (19) &
• James Peter SAMPSON (21).

LYNCH is described as, 175 cm in height, slim build, short brown hair and blue eyes.  He has a 1 inch scar running vertically underneath his left eye.

SAMPSON is described as, 180 cm in height, slim build, short brown hair and brown eyes. He has an incomplete tribal tattoo on his right forearm, a tattoo of a piston and two dice on his left forearm.

Both men were wearing white T shirt and either Khaki or green work pants when last seen.  They may also be wearing either an orange or purple windcheater. 

Police advise that neither person should be approached if sighted.  Anyone sighting either of the escapees is urged to ring Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 00 or Police communications on 131 444.
