Eastern CIB Detectives are seeking information from the public regarding two instances of firearms being discharged in eastern shore suburbs last night.  An incident at approximately 10pm in Gasnier Street in Clarendon Vale is believed to be linked to a further incident where a firearm is believed to have been discharged in Cambridge Road in Mornington at approximately 11pm.

Police believe the incident is the result of a fued between two groups of people.  No physical evidence of the firearms having been discharged has been found by investigating police at this point.  No property damage occurred as a result of the incidents.  Police have not received any reports of the firearms being pointed at any persons, nor has any personal injury been reported.

Police have ruled out any links between this incident and any other firearms incidents reported recently.
