Hobart CIB is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a deliberately lit fire at the rear of 369-375 Elizabeth Street, North Hobart on Friday 3rd August 2012. 

This building is situated on the corner of Strahan Street and houses Dede’s restaurant. 

The fire was lit at approximately 2:50am on Friday 3^rd August 2012 and caused substantial damage.

Police are calling for assistance from members of the public in relation to the matter and urge any person with information to contact Hobart CIB on 6230 2626 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
