Police and Fire services attended a structure fire at Nixon Street, Devonport this morning.

Neighbours reported a loud bang at around 3am, the house was fully engulfed by the time Fire and Police personnel attended.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious. Fire Scene Examiners are conducting investigations which may take some time. 

Police are interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen or have knowledge of the following vehicles in relation to this matter;

2003 Mercedes Campervan, white, registration FB8981

2001 Suzuki Jimny, white, registration EW9974

Or

2012 Mercedes Sprinter Van, white, registration C67 LE

Police would also like to speak with Geoffrey Robert Hay, 66 years, of Devonport, or anyone who has knowledge of his current whereabouts.
