As a result of continuing investigations relating to the significant seizure of illegal firearms by Glenorchy CIB on 30 September 2013; additional searches were conducted at Glenorchy and Murdunna on 2 October 2013.

Further ammunition and illegal fireworks were recovered.  The majority of firearms were not stored correctly.

A 48 year old male from Goodwood was arrested, interviewed and detained for court.

He will appear in the Hobart Court of Petty Sessions on 3 October 2013 charged with firearms offences and contravene conditions of a notice.
