Burglary and Stealing at the Orford Supermarket

At approximately 1.17am on Wednesday 9 October 2013 the IGA supermarket situated on Charles Street, Orford was burgled. 

The offenders stole a large quantity of cigarettes and tobacco products.

It is understood the insurance will not fully cover the value of the tobacco products stolen and as a result the burglary will have a significant impact on the business and its owners.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have information that could assist with the investigation of this matter.  Members of the public are asked to be on the lookout for anyone offering cheap tobacco products for sale.  Brands stolen include; Peter Jackson, Longbeach, Benson and Hedges, Holidays, Winfield, Champion, Bank, Drum and White Ox.
