 Attempted Armed Robbery – Abbotsfield Road Store

At 9:30pm on Tuesday 2nd December 2014 an unknown offender has entered the Abbotsfield Road Store, Claremont and demanded money from staff.

The offender was in possession of a weapon that has been undetermined at this time, however believed to have been a knife.

The offender fled the scene and was last seen getting into a white utility that was parked in Bristol Road, Claremont.

The offender is described as:

A man of solid build around 170 – 180cm tall. He was wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood up and a piece of cloth was covering his face.

The jumper was of the Hurley brand with either blue or purple Hurley motif on the front.

The offender was wearing dark coloured track pants and black sandshoes with white on them.

The offender was carrying a green ‘Woolworths’ reusable bag.

The Utility is described as a white 1997 – 2001 single cab Toyota Hi-Lux Utility with a body style tray (not flat tray) with TOYOTA in black writing on the rear of the tail gate of the tray.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a person fitting this description or a vehicle similar to the one described, on Bristol Road, Claremont around 9.30pm last night.
