Tasmania Police officers from the Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating a house fire at Evandale Rd, Western Junction in the State’s North.

Officers were alerted to the fire at 6.10pm on Thursday 11 December and the cause is currently being treated as suspicious.

An estimated $200,000 damage was caused to the house which was unoccupied at the time.
