Sporting Memorabilia Theft – Lindisfarne

Police are currently investigating the theft of three unique sporting memorabilia items. They were stolen from a private residence at Lindisfarne sometime between 10 January 2015 and 19 January 2015 whilst the occupants were away on holiday.

The following sporting memorabilia items were stolen:

  • Framed cricket bat signed by Sir Donald BRADMAN including a certificate of authenticity. *picture attached
  • Framed cricket bat signed by Ricky Ponting, signifying his first ever century at Bellerive Oval. *picture attached
  • Framed Essendon Football Club Jumper signed by, James Hird, Matthew Lloyd and Kevin Sheedy.

The items are highly recognisable and it is hoped they will be returned safely to those who value them.

Police ask that members of the public be vigilant should they be offered cheap sporting memorabilia matching the above descriptions and are requested to contact Police if this does occur.
