Senior members of Tasmania Police, members of the TFGA Board and the Chair of Bush Watch also attended.

The Partnership Agreement between Tasmania Police and the TFGA will focus upon strategies to raise awareness of rural crime and community safety issues. The Partnership Agreement will provide an avenue for formal communication between the two parties enabling senior representatives from each organisation to raise and discuss issues of relevance to rural communities.

Within the Partnership Agreement Tasmania Police will promote crime prevention initiatives such as Bush Watch and Crime Stoppers, and both parties will work together to explore opportunities to develop rural crime prevention initiatives in the future.

The Partnership Agreement between Tasmania Police and the TFGA will formalise the commitment that both parties have made to creating a genuine, cooperative working relationship, to promote safer communities and prevent crime.
