Bushfire Safety For Bushwalkers

Being equipped with a safety advice can increase chances of survival in bushfire situations.

Hot summer temperatures increase the possibility of bushfires in Tasmanian Parks, therefore it is important that bushwalkers are aware of their safety when bushwalking.

A safety information booklet ‘Before You Walk’ was released by the Parks and Wildlife Services Tasmania.

The booklet is available on the - Parks and Wildlife Services website.
