St Virgils College Fire

Glenorchy C.I.B. officers have charged a group of youths with arson and burglary in relation to an incident at St Virgils College, Austins Ferry, on Tuesday, 6 October 2009.

Police were called to the College at 11:45pm after a fire was reported in a quadrangle where building work was being carried out.

A set of wooden lockers was on fire.   The canteen had been entered and property removed.

Police spoke to a group of 5 youths seen in the area.   Four of them were charged and bailed to appear in court at a later date.

The boys are aged 11, 12, 15, and 18 years old.
