The Tasmanian Government enacted legislation to regulate the supply of alcohol to people under the age of 18 years, on private property. 
The new legislation means, if you supply someone under the age of 18 years with alcohol on private property, and:
• you are not the responsible adult
• do not have the permission of the responsible adult
• and do not supply alcohol in a responsible manner
you will be breaking the law, and may be fined or face imprisonment.

New graffiti laws and sale of aerosol paint containers (A4 poster) (pdf format 796 KB) 

The Tasmanian Government have enacted new legislation that makes it illegal to:
• distribute, sell or supply graffiti equipment (such as aerosol paint containers) to people under the age of 18 years
• mark graffiti (such as marking, drawing, writing or otherwise defacing property)
• possess, carry or use graffiti equipment (suach a aerosol paint containers) in a public place.

Tasmania Police is committed to ensuring equality and fairness to the community it serves.  This pamphlet details the network of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) Liaison Officers established within Tasmania Police to improve the relationship between police and LGBTI people and communities.
 

MOU between Tasmania Police and Tasmanian Schools and Colleges

Memorandum of Understanding between Tasmania Police and Tasmanian Schools and Colleges (January 2009) (pdf format 370 KB)

This MOU was developed between Tasmania Police and the Department of Education, the Catholic Education Office and the Association of Independent Schools of Tasmania.  The MOU outlines the process to be undertaken if an illicit drug is detected, or if a drug-related incident occurs, or is suspected on school premises.
