Police are investigating the theft of 6 registered firearms and a quantity of ammunition following the burglary of a residence in New Norfolk yesterday.

The firearms and property including ornamental swords, a compound bow and a laptop computer were taken from a residence between the 23rd and the 26th of December.

The firearms were stored in an approved container on the premises.
