At around 9:30am this morning (Monday, 6 February 2017) an incident occurred at an address in Main Road, Wivenhoe.

A 20 year old man from Wivenhoe received a single stab wound to the chest. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, however he continues to undergo treatment.

A 21 year old man from Wivenhoe has been charged with Attempted Murder following an investigation into the incident.  He will appear in court later today.
