Following legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions, three passengers involved in a fatal crash on Davey St, Hobart, will be proceeded against for Motor Vehicle Stealing.

The three youths, two aged 15 and one 12 year old, will be proceeded against under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

After a thorough examination of the available evidence it was determined there was no reasonable prospect of conviction in relation to more serious charges.
