Woman arrested following a serious assault at Glenorchy

Police have arrested a 36-year-old Glenorchy woman who is assisting with enquiries following an incident in Glenorchy early this morning.

Around 2am, a 40-year-old Glenorchy man received a stab wound to his forearm following an altercation at a private residence.

The man attended the Royal Hobart Hospital with non–life threatening injuries.

Later that morning, Police attended the Glenorchy residence and arrested the woman in relation to the assault.

Both parties are known to each other and this an isolated incident.
