Detectives at Devonport CIB are investigating the burglary of a motor vehicle in East Devonport and the theft of power tools.  The power tools were stolen overnight on Wednesday 20 – Thursday 21 September, from a tool capsule fitted to the tray of a utility.  The stolen property is all Makita brand, and includes an angle grinder, hammer drill, impact driver, and a reciprocating saw. They are similar, but not identical to the items photographed here. All the stolen power tools are able to be identified by the owner.  Any person with information which may assist police in this investigation is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
