White Ribbon Day 25 November

Police Commissioner Darren Hine will be taking part in the White Ribbon Walk in Hobart on Wednesday, 25 November, supporting Australia’s only national, male-led campaign to end men’s violence against women and children.

He will be joined by White Ribbon advocates and ambassadors, including Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet Greg Johannes, Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance Tony Ferrall, and Members of Parliament.

The walk starts at 12.30pm from St David’s Park, down Salamanca Place to Parliament House Lawns.

Motorists are advised that Salamanca Place between Gladstone St and Davey St will be closed for the duration of the walk (approx. 1 hour).
