Acceptable Methods of Identification
The Firearms Act 1996 requires that in making an application for a firearms licence the application must contain proof of the identity of the applicant in accordance with the Financial Transactions Reports Act 1988 of the Commonwealth.
All applications under the Act require proper identification to be provided by the applicant.
