Application for Firearms Museum Licence

The Firearms Act 1996 provides that a person must have a Firearms Museum Licence to show or exhibit firearms.

The application must indicate for what purpose the firearms are to be shown or exhibited and list the locations where they will be shown or exhibited.

All Firearms Museum Licence applications will be subject to an inspection of the premises and the storage and safekeeping facilities in order to determine if those requirements meet the requirements of the Firearms Act 1996.

The applicant must produce identification totalling 100 points. (Acceptable methods of Identification form attached).

The licence is for a three year period and a Firearms Licence Fee applies.
