How should I transport my Firearms?
It is a requirement for firearms licence holders or exemption holders to ensure that their firearms do not become lost or stolen or come into the possession of a person not authorised to have possession.
Licence holders must comply with section 104 of the Firearms Act 1996 and regulation 12 and 12A of the Firearms Regulations 2006. Acts and Regulations information is available on the Tasmanian Legislation website.
