Tasmania Police plays an important role in reduction of the incidence and impact of road trauma on Tasmanian roads.
Tasmania Police works in close partnership with a range of stakeholders such as Road Safety Taskforce; Road Safety Council; Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources; Community Road Safety; government councils and motoring organisations. The partnership’s enforcement activities focus on road safety and strategies that are aimed at reducing the number of fatal and serious injury crashes.
