This type of check identifies records held in other jurisdictions. Tasmania Police encourages employers to request this type of check for employment purposes.

National Police Record & Fingerprint Check = $120.00
This standard of check is required for applications for a Gaming Licence, some Security Guard positions and visa requirements.

Tasmania Police Record Check - Nil Fee
All persons are entitled to a free Tasmania Police Record Check every 12 months. As this type of check does not identify records held in other jurisdictions, Tasmania Police cannot recommend this type of check for employment purposes.

National Police Record Check Concession Rate = $5.00
Only applicable for a National Police Record Check. Applicants must have an approved representative of the volunteer organisation authorise their application in Section 6 of the Consent Form.
