$6,000 donation to StGiles
On 12th April 2017 Tasmania Police Charity Trust Board members Inspector Michael Johnston and Senator Stephen Parry handed over a $6,000 cheque to StGiles Society on behalf of the Trust.
The $6,000 will fund two rounds of StGiles early intervention program, REEL (Relationships that Enrich Emotions for Learning). REEL uses multidisciplinary therapy teams working with small groups of children and their families. The program aims to teach children with behavioural challenges and autism how to play so they can go to school and learn.
Tasmania Police Charity Trust have an ongoing partnership with StGiles Society with the desire to provide a holistic approach that potentially benefits multiple recipients.
