Glenorchy CIB is investigating an incident where a 16 year old girl was approached by an unknown man while she was walking in the Montrose area about 8am today.

A short conversation occurred between the two during which the girl was assaulted by the man.  Whilst not physically injured, the girl was frightened and the matter is now subject to a police investigation.

Glenorchy CIB would like to hear from anyone in and around the Herbert Street and Grove Road areas between 7:45am and 8:30am who may have seen a man matching the following description:

Approximately 175cm tall, aged early to mid 20s, with tan skin and wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and hi-top black skate shoes.
