National Police Remembrance Week

Today marks the start of the Week of Remembrance (Thursday 22 September – Thursday 29 September) when we honour and remember colleagues who have died in the line of duty, or passed away through illness or in tragic circumstances.

It’s also an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of our members, and the daily challenges and sometimes dangerous situations you face in serving the community.

Remembrance Day is not only a time to pause and remember those who have died, it is also a time to reach out to our colleagues to ask “are you OK?”  It’s important we look after ourselves and each other.
