Shark sighting – Rocky Cape Lighthouse

Police have been advised of a shark sighting a few hundred metres northwest of the Rocky Cape Lighthouse in Bass Strait.  The shark was approximately 1 kilometre offshore and believe was heading west.  The shark was believed to 3-4 metres in length. Boat users in the area are advised to use caution in the area.
