Approximately 9.41am Aussar advised Tasmania Police of an EPIRB activation in the area of Mount Anne, near Lake Pedder.

Approximately 5.25pm on Friday 15 October 2010 police were notified of a light plane crash at Mount Strzelecki, Flinders Island.

Police are seeking witnesses to a traffic crash that occurred on the Tasman Bridge, Hobart on Tuesday 12 October 2010.

At approximately 13:45 hours on 10 October 2010 Tasmania Police and Fire Service personnel attended a fire at Clarendon Vale.

Surfer rescued from Shipstern Bluff

About 12:10hrs on Saturday 10 October 2010 the Tasmania Police Westpac Rescue Helicopter was deployed to Shipstern Bluff to rescue an injured surfer.
