A 32 year old Glenorchy man has been charged in relation to the burglary of 4 houses.

At about 9:45am today, police were called to a single vehicle crash on Cheshunt Road, Meander.

Missing Person Located

At approximately 8.10am this morning, police received several calls in relation to a sighting of missing child Connor Menzie on Old Forcett Road near Pendall Drive and Alomes Drive, Forcett.

Drug and firearms seizure

A 67 year old Buckland male has been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and with firearm offences. He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on a later date.

Firearms stolen

Between approximately 8.00am and 5.30pm on Monday 8th August 2011 a home at Blackmans Bay was burgled and a number of high powered firearms were stolen.

East Launceston burglaries

On Tuesday 2 August 2011 a 22 year old Kings Meadows man was charged with breaking into cars and houses in the Newstead and East Launceston areas.

Police in Northern Crime and Drug Investigation have made arrests in relation to the trafficking of drugs with a value of $450,000.
