Six little ducks went out one day . . . and were rescued on Hobart’s Southern Outlet thanks to the quick
response of a Tasmania Police officer this morning. Mother duck and ducklings were attempting to brave the morning traffic.

A 55 year old woman from Singapore died as the result of a single vehicle crash on the Arthur Highway near Copping.

Christmas Toy Run – Saturday, 1 December 2012

Death of 17 year old youth investigated
A report is being prepared for the Coroner in relation to the death of a 17 year old youth in southern Tasmania on 25 November 2012. Investigations indicate that the youth had been drinking a ‘tea’ made from poppy capsules.
