Point to Pinnacle – Traffic Disruption – Sunday, 18 November

On Sunday, 18 November 2012, the annual Garmin Point to Pinnacle Run and Walk will be held in the Sandy Bay, South Hobart and Mt Wellington area. Roads will only be closed whilst participants are on that section of roadway, or approaching such.

Brighton Bypass Speed Restrictions

The new Brighton bypass that opened on Monday 12 November 2012 has a current speed limit of 80km per hour.

Police wish to speak to a female who reported a young male behaving in an indecent manner in Wragg Street, Somerset earlier today.

At approximately 6.30am on Friday 9 November 2012, George Town police were called to a report of a man unconscious on a George Town street.

Glen Dhu Crash

A 17 year old youth is in the Royal Hobart Hospital with serious head injuries following a single vehicle crash.

Crash Charges

An 18 year old male from Isandula will be summonsed to appear in the Devonport Magistrates court in relation to a crash in Gawler in August.

Man charged over Video Ezy Robbery

Hobart Detectives have today charged a 24 year old Huonville man with Armed Robbery of the Video Ezy store at New Town.

Medals and Commendations

The longest current serving officer with Tasmania Police will be among those recognised for their service to the community at ceremonies in Hobart on 13 November 2012. Constable Buckingham will be recognised for his 45 year career.
