Damage at the Botanical Gardens

Hobart Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding significant damage which has been caused to the Visitor Centre at the Botanical Gardens overnight.

Joint Agency Investigation

A joint agency investigation between Tasmania Police and Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) officers has resulted in charges against two Campbell Town men for a variety of breaches under the Firearms Act and Wildlife Act.

A 20 year old man was remanded in custody and an 18 year old man is appearing in court today in relation to a series of burglaries targetting businesses along the North West Coast.
