Hobart Criminal Investigation Branch detectives are investigating the theft of 6 outboard motors from the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania on the 15th January 2014 at Marieville Esplanade Sandy Bay.

Helicopter Rescue – Park Beach

At 5:30pm on Thursday 16/1/14 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue received a request for assistance from Ambulance Tasmania. A 47 year old Dodges Ferry man had fallen on rocks at the western end of Park Beach and suffered a broken leg.

At 12:00pm on Thursday 16/1/14 Ambulance Tasmania activated the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to attend Swansea due to a 56 year old Turners Beach man suffering cardiac arrest.
