On Saturday, 11 January 2014 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend Cradle Mountain for an injured bushwalker in the vicinity of Lake Rodway.

Firearm Discharge – Holloway Drive, Herdsmans Cove

At approximately 00:30am on Thursday, 9th January 2014, Tasmania Police responded to a report of a disturbance and firearm discharge in Holloway Drive, Herdsmans Cove. About 2.20am on Thursday, 9 January 2014 police and ambulance responded to the report of an unconscious woman in Despard Street, Hobart near Mobius.

On Wednesday, 8 January 2014 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend the Western Arthurs for an injured walker.

Man and Woman charged over Assault – Salamanca Taxi Rank

Today Hobart CIB Detectives charged a 25-year-old Montrose man and a 34-year-old West Moonah woman in relation to the assault of two men at the taxi rank in Castray Esplanade, Salamanca, in the early hours of Saturday 30 November 2013. The incident was captured on CCTV footage.
