Rescue of Two Sailors – Cape Raoul (2 Jan)

At approximately 7:30pm on Thursday 2/1/14, Tasmania Police Search and Rescue were notified of two injured sailors.

Rescue of 3 Bushwalkers – Salisbury River (2 Jan)

On Thursday 2/1/14 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue were notified of 3 Victorian bushwalkers who had become trapped in the Salisbury River in Southwest Tasmania.

Rescue of Injured Walker – The Acropolis (4 Jan)

At 1:00pm on Saturday 4/1/14 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue were notified of an injured walker on the side of The Acropolis in the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park. The 35 year old South Australian woman had fallen and injured her leg and was unable to move.

Aggravated Armed Robbery – Rokeby (5 Jan)

Police are investigating an aggravated armed robbery that occurred at Rokeby at about 10:45pm last night.
