At 11:00am on 13 July 2014 uniform police patrolling the search area safely located Mr Jamieson and his two children. No injuries were sustained and the trio will be reunited with family today.

Dangerous Driving Through Fatal Pedestrian Accident Scene – West Tamar Highway, Sidmouth

On Friday 11 July 2014 police closed the West Tamar Highway at Sidmouth between Spring Hill Road and Valley Road whilst they investigated a fatal pedestrian accident which had occurred at approximately 6:10pm that evening.

At about 6:10pm on Friday 11 July 2014 a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the West Tamar Highway a short distance north of Collins Lane, Sidmouth in the municipality of the West Tamar.

Hit-and-Run Car Crash – Brooker Highway, Derwent Park

At 11:25am today, Friday the 11th of July 2014, a white Toyota utility was parked on the side of the south-bound lanes of the Brooker Highway Derwent Park, just prior to the Lampton Avenue intersection, when it was struck by an unidentified vehicle.

A Hobart man who ‘coward punched’ another man will spend the next three months in jail after he was sentenced at the Hobart Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Six people have been charged and one million dollars in drugs seized following a three-month operation by Tasmania Police in Launceston.

67 Year Old Male Charged With Arson

Glenorchy CIB have charged a 67 year old male with Arson after a deliberately lit house fire at Newbury Place Bridgewater. The male was bailed to appear at Hobart CPS at a later date.

Construction is underway in the first major steps towards rebuilding the Dunalley Police Station and residence destroyed in the January 2013 bushfires.
