A 37 year old man from Bridgewater has been charged with murder. Police will allege that he is responsible for the murder of Jodi Michelle Eaton.

Yesterday, Thursday 20th February 2014, police were called to assist with two separate medical emergencies in the Cradle Mountain National Park.

A 23 year old Cradoc man was arrested and charged yesterday as part of a joint investigation involving Tasmania Police, Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS).

Man Charged With Failing To Report The Killing Of A Person

Police have arrested and charged a 36 year old Bridgewater man with failing to report the killing of a person, and being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Police are seeking information in relation to the whereabouts of Brian George MOORE dob 3/5/1963 who was last seen in the Devonport area on Sunday the 16 February 2014.

Rosebery Police have investigated the report of a TasRail tamper and ballast regulator being damaged while passing through the town on 6 February 2014.

Rokeby and Sandford Bushfires

On Saturday 15 February 2014 at about 2:00pm, a deliberately lit bushfire caused extensive damage to vegetation in the area between Atkins Street in Rokeby and Buckingham Drive in Howrah Gardens.
