Charges laid over Gunn St arson

Police have charged two 18-year-old men with arson in relation to the house fire in Gunn Street, Devonport on Monday. One man was also charged with a further count of arson over a fire at the same residence on 28 September. They are due to reappear in court on 14 November 2022.

Police are investigating a deliberately lit structure fire in Devonport overnight. Emergency services were called to the scene on Gunn Street about 1am, arriving to find the unoccupied residence well alight.
