Death following Lyell Highway, Sorell Creek pedestrian crash on 23 July

Sadly, the 16-year-old pedestrian involved in a serious crash at Granton on 23 July has died in hospital. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and loved ones of the youth. The police investigation into the crash is ongoing with a report is being prepared for the Coroner.

Body formally identified

The body located in bushland near Nabowla on Wednesday has been formally identified as 14 year old Shyanne-Lee Tatnell. The results were confirmed through DNA testing.
