Police are currently investigating an armed robbery which occurred at about 8.10pm on Saturday the 2^nd June 2012 at the BWS located along Invermay Road at Invermay.

A male person entered the store brandishing a large knife and demanded money from a staff member. The male took an undisclosed amount of money from the establishment along with cigarettes. The male left the store and was last seen running west behind the establishment towards Mckenzie Street.

He is described as about 180-185cms tall, slim build, wearing a light grey coloured chequered hooded jumper, black coloured track pants and white coloured shoes. He was also carrying a yellow coloured calico style bag and wearing a face mask.

No injuries were sustained in the robbery.
