Detectives from the Launceston Major Crime Squad have charged a 16 year old Rocherlea male with Arson following a house fire in Cupania Street, Rocherlea over night on the 16th February 2012.

The Housing Tasmania property was vacant at the time of the fire and the estimated cost of the destruction was $250,000.

The youth has been bailed to appear at the Launceston Youth Court.
