On Tuesday 12 March 2013 officers from Launceston Crime & Drug Investigations arrested and charged three people with aggravated armed robbery.

The charges relate to the armed robbery of a pizza delivery person in the Launceston suburb of Invermay overnight on 11 March 2013.

Two people aged 16 and a third person aged 18 were detained to appear in an out of hours court in Launceston.

Police are requesting that any member of the public who may have seen a group of males walking along Lamont Street, Invermay, towards Heritage Forest at approximately 10pm on 11 March 2013 to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
