Swansea police have been contacted by the parents of an 18 year old German backpacker travelling in the East Coast of Tasmania.

Margarida FARINHA is described as being tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She is believed to be staying in the Swansea/ East Coast area however has not made contact with her family for a couple of days.

Margharita is asked to contact local Police and her family as soon as possible.  Any one who believes they have information in relation to Margharita's whereabouts is also asked to contact police on 131 444.
