Police are seeking assistance from the public who may have seen a White 1989 Ford Corsair travelling from the Bowen Bridge along the East Derwent Highway towards Risdon Vale on Saturday 25 September 2010 at approximately 9.00am.

The vehicle was observed travelling at speed and attempted to overtake several vehicles through the “S” bends of the highway. A short time later the vehicle crashed into a power pole just north of the roundabout on Grass Tree Hill. A male was seen running from the vehicle shortly after the accident.
