On Sunday 16 September 2012 Devonport Police attended the report of a Burglary and Stealing at Allgoods, Devonport following the activation of an internal alarm.  A male was apprehended near the scene of the burglary with a further 2 male youths located a short time later.

Members of the Western Criminal Investigation Branch have interviewed a male adult and a male youth in relation to the Allgoods Burglary and a total of (13) business and motor vehicle burglaries that have occurred in the East Devonport area since 31 May 2012.

A third male youth has been interviewed in relation to his knowledge and involvement of the Allgoods burglary.

A quantity of property has been recovered and further enquiries are continuing in relation to a number of outstanding items of property.

The adult has been charged and bailed to appear in the Devonport Court of Petty Sessions at a later date.  The two youths will be the subject of proceedings under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
