Police have charged a 19-year-old Sheffield man with Wounding following an incident in Devonport on Saturday night.

Around 8.30pm an alternation occurred at a property on Smith Street between several men known to each-other.

Two men aged in their forties required medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries sustained during the incident, one being a stab wound allegedly from a small knife.

The charged man will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.
