Second person charged over Sandy Bay chemist robbery

Police have charged a second person in relation to the Sandy Bay chemist robbery on Saturday, 23 May. A 27-year-old Hobart woman appeared in an out of hours court session last night, charged with Aggravated Robbery. She was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear in the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.

Man charged in relation to Wounding at Weily Place, Bridgewater

Police have charged a 31-year-old Hadspen man in relation to a wounding incident at Weily Place in Bridgewater last night. The man has been charged with Wounding, Breach of Restraint Order, Destroy Property, and Breach of Bail. He will appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.

Sadly around 10.30am this morning police discovered the body of a deceased man in bushland at Glenlusk. The body is believed to be that of missing Glenorchy man Robert Bruce Young.
