Medivac of Snake Bite Victim, Maria Island

At 10:45am on Tuesday 18/11/14 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue were advised of a 30 year old male from USA who had been bitten by a Tiger snake on Maria Island. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was activated and evacuated the man to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a stable condition.
